What we do
CanaDIANA UnlimiTED creates and provides quality educational and entertainment programs for children of all ages, interests, and abilities. We strive to deliver activities which cover a broad range of subject matter, incorporating different teaching-learning strategies to reach the different learning styles through theme-based and multifaceted activities. Much of our programming involves original materials and activities created by us with the specific goals of teaching high-level concepts and terms in a child-friendly and accessible manner. Our programs cover many of the overall and specific educational objectives as laid out in the Ontario Curriculum Documents for a wide range of grades and subjects, and are customized for the particular groups and participants in each session we present.
Our teaching and leading styles tend towards a relaxed approach where flexibility is key. We pride ourselves in our ability to adapt to changing group dynamics and situations. Our programming takes into account children’s variable interest, ability, and energy levels, and we are willing and able to adapt our activities whenever and wherever required, including language support for ESL students. We are particularly amenable to working with and accommodating the specific needs of children who have special requirements for behavioural, academic, or medical reasons. We welcome varying or undefined group sizes and age ranges; for example, day camps where participants change daily or weekly, and have previously managed programming for ages 3-12 in a single group.
